Ballet

Sarah started ballet classes at Civic Dance Center a few weeks ago and I must say, she is the cutest little ballerina I have ever seen!  It was so funny fun to watch her learn new skills and try so hard to copy what the teacher does.  She goes once a week for 45 minutes.  The dance center is pretty strict as far as dress code goes.  They all have to have pink ballet shoes, pink tights, a solid color leotard, and their hair in a bun.  There are 2 boys in her class and they must wear white shirts, black shorts, and black ballet shoes.  Her teacher is very strict and is teaching them early what discipline is all about. There is a window that the parents can watch from and the kids can see us too, but the teacher demands there attention so well that none of them ever look at us.  Sarah is enjoying it and I am enjoying watching her.  I can't wait to see how she improves throughout the year.
