Disneyland

Like I said previously, we went to DISNEYLAND!  It is so not like us to just go to Disneyland unplanned like this, but it ended up being such a great trip.  We woke up dark and early at 4, loaded up the car, and took off.  It rained so hard all the way there so right before we got to Disneyland we stopped at Walmart and bought a couple huge umbrellas that ended up being amazing to have.  We met up with the Reeves at Indiana Jones and just had a great day from there.  It really didn't rain much, just a sprinkle here and there until we were eating lunch, indoors luckily, and the rain really started to come down.  So after we ate we made a mad dash to their hotel room right across the street.  We changed clothes, took naps, bought some new shoes for Ashley and headed back to Disneyland a couple hours later, around 4.  By then, the rain had stopped and the sun was actually shining.  And the best part, everyone had left Disneyland!  We rode every ride and some a couple of times.  It was great!

Sarah still had the same reaction to Disneyland she did the last time we took her.  She just stares blankly and takes it all in.  She had Corgan to play with this time so she showed a little more excitement throughout the day.  Lincoln, on the other hand, was so excited and it showed!  He would point and talk all day.  "Dat!" "Dat!" He LOVED the tiki room!  Sarah said her favorite ride was Star Tours, surprisingly, but that was only until we rode the Casey Jr. Train, then that was her favorite.

At the end of the day, we were faced with the decision of whether or not to buy a season pass...and we decided that it only made sense to get them!  They apply that days admission to the cost and we already have another trip planned to go back in May so it was only $40 dollars more to get a season pass.  We are stoked!  I am already planning on going back next week maybe.  :)

♥ Star Tours and Casey Jr. Train  We ♥ The Jungle Cruise.  David wrote down a bunch of the jokes to use on the river this summer.  Blurry pic of me and Ashley on Indiana Jones.  Lunch at the Golden Horseshoe with Billy Hill and the Hillbillies.  The boys were so cute with their matching umbrellas, pushing strollers together.  ♥ At "nap time," Sarah and Corgan played games together on the phones.  It was pretty cute actually.                The weather was horrendous on the way home.  I-5 was closed so we went to Mojave and through Tehachapi to get home, but it was pretty bad.  Winds had to be at least 50 mph and it was snowing.  A little scary, but at least the kids were asleep. We made it home safe and sound around 1:30am.Thanks, Reeves, for being awesome and inviting us to Disneyland!  It was a blast!!!  Can't wait to do it again next month!
