Some tulips popped up in our garden.
The Thursday before Easter we went over to Amber's for a little practice egg hunt in her backyard. All of the kids were so stinkin' cute!
At first, Sarah only collected the pink eggs and passed by all the others. Until she realized there was candy in all of them, they she was no longer racist towards the non-pink eggs.
Lincoln's plan was to find/or steal an egg, eat the candy, then put the egg back. Smart kid!
Evelyn's strategy was all about speed!
Penny was totally confused the whole time!
Preston was determined to get every egg he saw!
This was the best picture I got. Lincoln was only worried about stealing candy from Preston while Preston tried to defend his basket. Penny's was still trying to figure out what going on. Sarah was probably counting all of the pink eggs in her bucket. And sweet, little Evelyn was actually looking at the camera. Gotta love em'!
On Easter morning, the kids woke up and found their Easter baskets from McGregor (the Easter bunny). David got called to work at 9:30 so as the kids and I went to church, David went to work. After church, the kids took naps while I made rolls. When they woke up we went to my mom's for dinner and had our egg hunt and the kids got another Easter basket that McGregor had left at grandma's. Lucky! David got home shortly after we did. It was a pretty mellow Easter, besides Michael falling in the pool. I almost forgot about that.
